Launch Observer Privacy Policy
Launch Observer is a browser extension that helps users inspect analytics and marketing network calls. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how it is used.
Data We Collect
Launch Observer does not collect, transmit, or sell personal data. All inspection happens locally in your browser.
Data Processed Locally
To provide the product features, the extension processes the following data only on your device:
- Network request metadata and payloads for domains you explicitly allow.
- Optional page-level hook data to capture missing request bodies (only while a session is active).
- Session names, site labels, and request history stored in browser local storage.
When Data Is Captured
Launch Observer only inspects requests while a session is active and only for domains you explicitly allow. If no session is running, the extension does not capture request data.
Data Sharing
No data is sent to external servers. The extension operates entirely offline after installation.
Permissions
Launch Observer requests permissions only to observe network requests, associate them with tabs, and remember your settings locally.
